Mammoth Spring hosts district baseball, softball tournaments Saturday

Baseball and softball make up the local Saturday schedule as Mammoth Spring hosts the 1A-3 District Tournament.

The baseball tournament will be held at Mammoth Spring State Park. The Bears will take on Hillcrest at 3:00.

The softball tournament is at the Mammoth Spring VFW Field. The Lady Bears’ opening game will be against top-seeded Hillcrest at 10:00.

Mountain Home’s junior varsity softball team is across the state line this weekend. The J.V. Lady Bombers will compete in the Van Buren Invitational.
