A Taney County woman received serious injuries in a one-vehicle accident Friday afternoon in Ozark County. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 68-year-old Artie Collins of Merriam Woods was transported to Baxter Regional Medical Center from the scene 1 mile west of Gainesville.
Collins was traveling on U.S. Highway 160 when her vehicle ran off the right side of the roadway. Her SUV then struck a gas station sign and several trees.
Collins’ SUV was totaled in the 2:45 p.m. accident.
