A local golf course is giving local youth the opportunity to learn the game. Big Creek Golf and Country Club’s Summer Junior Golf Academy is underway and will continue until the next school year begins in August.
Sessions are Tuesdays from 4 until 6 and Saturdays from 3 until 6. The group will include children ages 5 to 13, as they spend time on the golf course and receive instruction on all phases of the game.
The cost is $150 per player. Golfers can attend every session or as many as they can fit in their schedule. To sign up, visit the Big Creek clubhouse or call 870-425-8815.
