The soccer season continues for a pair of area high schools on Friday.
The Mountain Home teams will compete in the quarterfinals of the Class 5A State Tournament at the Letain Devore Soccer Complex in Searcy.
The Lady Bombers will have the opening match on Field 3 as they meet Little Rock Christian after both teams began on Thursday with shutout victories. The Lady Bombers beat Texarkana, and the Lady Warriors beat up on Little Rock Hall. Kickoff is scheduled for 10 a.m.
Mountain Home’s boys will be back on Field 1 as they take on Maumelle. The Bombers’ opening win was over El Dorado, and the Hornets got past Little Rock Christian. Action is set to begin at noon.
Both of Harrison’s teams will be on the Lyon College campus in Batesville for the quarterfinals of the Class 4A State Tournament. The Lady Goblins get underway at 10 against Stuttgart, and the Harrison boys face Pulaski Academy at noon.
