Courtesy LaGuardia Arts High School AuctionPaul Stanley has lent a helping hand to his alma mater, LaGuardia Arts high school in Manhattan — which will give one KISS fan a chance to win a pair of great seats to the band’s summer NYC show, and a cool bonus.

The winner of LaGuardia’s auction lot number 100 will get two tickets to the August 20th KISS show at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. The item description notes, “The seats will be in the band’s ‘friends and family’ section, so you’ll have a great view, and who knows who’ll you’ll be shoulder to shoulder with?” To be sure, New York’s KISS shows are always jammed full of VIPs.

To boost the auction prize’s octane even higher, there’s also a killer color photo, signed by all four KISS members.

LaGuardia Arts auction coordinator Heather MacAllister tells ABC News, “it’s very exciting to have such a well-known alum [as Paul Stanley] connect and be so generous to the school. We are very appreciative.”

As of late Tuesday morning, the bid was the bargain price of $550, with bidding set to end Sunday night at 10 p.m. ET.  You can find the auction at the Bidding For Good charity auction site, by entering either ‘KISS’ or ‘LaGuardia Arts.’

Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School is New York City’s most prestigious performing arts school — in fact, it’s the school Fame was based on — and has produced so many famous artists that its “notable alumni” section has its own Wikipedia page. Paul Stanley graduated in 1970.
