The Mountain Home Lockeroom American Legion baseball team got its season started with a pair of wins at Searcy Monday night.
The Lockeroom took the first game 9-2. Asa Smith led the offense by going two for two with a grand slam. Luke Dibble was the winning pitcher, striking out six.
In the second game, the Lockeroom held off Searcy 11-8. At the plate, Will Uchtman had two hits and drove in four runs. Gage McClain got the win on the mound.
The Lockeroom returns to action Wednesday at Harrison.
