
North Central Arkansas Speedway will hold a fundraiser this week for the Peitz Cancer Support House. The sixth edition of Racin’ for a Cure is scheduled for Friday.
The gates will open at 5 p.m., and racing starts three hours later. Fans will have an opportunity to ride along in a NASCAR Gander Outdoor Series two-seat truck or take a ride through the custom obstacle course in one of three rock crawlers
An auction will include a swimming pool, an iWatch, a kayak and other items. The special guest auctioneer will be Ashton Walker, the 11-year-old grandson of local auctioneer Tommie Walker.
Several items will also be raffled including two Power Wheels cars, chainsaws, an air compressor, a smoker and a Levelwind reel. The evening will conclude with a fireworks show.
In addition, the feature race in the Super Stock division will pay $3,000 to the winner. North Central Arkansas Speedway is located on U.S. Highway 62 and 412 between Flippin and Yellville. For more information on Racin’ for a Cure or on the track, go online to ncaspeedway.com.
