Lockeroom sweeps DH at home against Batesville

The Mountain Home Lockeroom American Legion Baseball team swept a doubleheader at home Tuesday night against Batesville.

The Lockeroom took the first game 11-2. Jim Strider got the win on the mound, allowing four hits and striking out 9. Caleb Johnson led the offense by going 4 for 4 with two doubles and 4 runs batted in.

In the second game, Batesville jumped out to a 5-0 lead, but the Lockeroom scored 11 unanswered runs for an 11-5 win. Tanner Jennings was the winning pitcher.

The Lockeroom will be back in action Thursday for the first day of the College of the Ozarks Tournament at Hollister.
