Residents and visitors of Marion County and surrounding areas may experience difficulties accessing internet or cellphone service. According to the Marion County Sheriff’s Office, a fiber optic line was cut Monday in Marion County. Calls to 911 are being rerouted. Service is expected to be restored around 3:30 Monday afternoon.
