The Mountain Home Hurricanes swim team had a good weekend at Cooper Park. The Hurricanes easily defeated Pocahontas at the Mountain Home City Pool as a pair of records were broken.
Maddie Lynch won the 100-yard and 200-yard butterfly competitions for girls ages 15-to-18. She set a pool record in both competitions.
Other first place winners included Annabelle Horn, Bryce Litty, Marlee Brashear, Liam Pace, Reagan Hawkins, Brandon Belicek, Ayla Horn, Caleb Due, Zach Daugherty, Hudson Pace, Jerald Bailey, David Bevel, Anthony Morales, Olivia Wham and Micah Cruse.
