Courtesy of Live Nation EntertainmentHeart will be keeping its Love Alive Tour going even longer than originally announced.
The lengthy North American trek, which features such support acts as Joan Jett & the Blackhearts, Sheryl Crow, Elle King and Brandi Carlile joining the Wilson sisters and their band at select stops, has been extended into the fall.
The tour already included 39 dates, kicking off July 9 in Maryland Heights, Missouri, and running through a September 9 show in Los Angeles. Now 11 more performances have been added, spanning from a September 26 concert in Wantagh, New York through an October 13 gig in St. Paul, Minnesota.
Tickets for most of the new dates will go on sale this Friday, June 21, at 10 a.m. local time via LiveNation.com. Citi card members will be able to buy pre-sale tickets beginning Tuesday, June 18, at 10 a.m. local time. Visit CitiEntertainment.com for more details about pre-sale opportunities.
Joan Jett & the Blackhearts will be the special guests at all of the newly announced concerts, while British singer/songwriter Lucie Silvas will open most of those shows.
The Love Alive Tour will mark Heart’s first concerts after a nearly three-year hiatus.
