LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) – Arkansas has cleared a Helena-West Helena dispensary to begin selling medical marijuana, making it the fourth business to be approved.

Department of Finance and Administration spokesman Scott Hardin says the
state’s Alcoholic Beverage Control Board gave Greenlight Dispensary the go ahead to begin operating on Tuesday. A spokeswoman for the dispensary say it plans to open on Friday.

Hardin says since Doctor’s Orders RX opened in Hot Springs on May 10,
Arkansas dispensaries have sold 258 pounds of medical marijuana, totaling about $1.72 million.

Hardin also says that the findings of an inspection of Native Green Wellness Center on Tuesday will be released soon. A sixth dispensary, Fiddler’s Green in Mountain View, will be inspected next week.
