Credit: Amy GranthamGraham Nash has extended his North American fall tour into late October after recently adding eight shows to the end of the trek. The new concerts span run from an October 8 show in Toronto through an October 20 performance in Three Oaks, Michigan.

One of the gigs, scheduled for October 15, will take place at Bethel, New York, the site of the 1969 Woodstock festival, where Graham famously performed as a member of Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young 50 years ago this August.

Most of the folk-rock legend’s fall tour will feature him playing shows dubbed “An Intimate Evening of Songs and Stories with Graham Nash.” He’ll perform tunes from throughout his long career, including material from Crosby, Stills & Nash, The Hollies and his solo releases.

Graham’s also lined up four previously announced concerts in September that will feature him playing his first two solo albums — 1971’s Songs for Beginners and 1973’s Wild Tales — in their entireties.

These special shows are scheduled on September 25 in South Orange, New Jersey; September 27 in New York City; September 28 in Albany, New York; and September 29 in Boston.

Nash recently told RollingStone.com that he’s assembling a larger backing band especially for these concerts, with a drummer, a bassist, backup singers and a pedal-steel player.

Before the stateside fall trek, Graham embarks on a European summer tour that starts in Italy on July 11 and wraps up August 3 in London.
