The Mountain Home Hurricanes swim team ended up finishing third in a meet at Jonesboro. The host team won the meet with Pocahontas taking second.
Maddie Lynch ended up winning four events and broke team records in the 100-yard freestyle, 100-yard backstroke and 200-yard individual medley. Walter Daniels also won four events for Mountain Home.
The Hurricanes will take part in a Junior Olympic qualifier meet Friday at El Dorado.
