Mountain Home’s 13-year-old baseball team fell one win shy of a state championship on Sunday. Mountain Home competed in the title game of the Babe Ruth North Arkansas State Tournament at Harrison and was edged out by Tri-County 8-7.
Despite the loss, Mountain Home’s season will continue. The local 13-year-olds will return to the Equity Bank Sports Complex July 19 to begin action in the Babe Ruth Southwest Regional Tournament.
