A male subject has been apprehended in Fulton County following a manhunt that began Monday night after a high-speed pursuit starting in Baxter County. We will have more details on the story as they become available.

A manhunt continues Tuesday morning in Fulton County following a multi-county high speed pursuit. Baxter County Sheriff’s Office Captain Jeff Lewis says the pursuit started about 6:30 Tuesday morning when deputies tried to stop a vehicle for a traffic violation. The male driver took off and it was determined the vehicle had been reported stolen.
Authorities do not have a description of the subject they are looking for. Deputies from both the Baxter and Fulton County Sheriff’s Offices, the canine tracking team from the North Central Unit at Calico Rock and the Baxter County Sheriff’s helicopter are involved in the search.
The area of the manhunt is the Mount Calm area, west, northwest of Viola near the intersection of Enterprise Road and Pickerin Hall Road. Residents of the area are advised to keep vehicles locked and keep ATVs put away.
