Baseball is on the local Friday schedule as a pair of area teams begin tournament play.
The postseason begins Friday for the Mountain Home Lockeroom American Legion team. The Lockeroom will be in Conway to begin the Arkansas Senior State Tournament as their first opponent will be Maumelle. The first pitch at Curtis Walker Field is scheduled for 8 p.m.
The Mountain Home 13-year-olds will return to the Equity Bank Sports Complex in Harrison to begin action in the Babe Ruth Southwest Regional Tournament. Mountain Home will meet Meridian, Mississippi, at 10 a.m. on Pippin Field.
