A man who was added to the Baxter County Sheriff’s Most Wanted list Tuesday afternoon was apprehended Tuesday night in Mountain Home. Twenty-two-year-old Kyle James Tilley of Jordan was arrested by Mountain Home Police at a local hotel. Police went to the hotel to assist a bail bondsman who knew Tilley’s whereabouts. The incident report from MHPD says Tilley has made threats to shoot any law enforcement who tried to take him into custody. The hotel manager unlocked the door but the chain was latched to the door. Police kicked the door in and took Tilley into custody. There was a .380 caliber handgun in the room.

Tilley was placed on the Most Wanted list for allegedly stealing a truck in the Jordan area and breaking into a home and stealing items. Both incidents happened in April. Tilley also had one outstanding warrant and a second warrant has been issued. Tilley had reportedly cut off his court ordered ankle monitor.

Tilley is facing felony charges of theft of property, residential burglary and breaking or entering and a misdemeanor count of theft of property. His bond is set at $55,000.
