Arkansas plane crash victim was 67-year-old De Queen man

DE QUEEN, Ark. (AP)   Authorities say the man killed in a Sunday plane crash in southwest Arkansas was a 67-year-old De Queen man.

Sevier County Coroner Rusty Williams says John Tackett died when the twin-engine aircraft crashed about 4:45 p.m. in a cow pasture near De Queen.

Williams says 77-year-old passenger Joe Greer of Horatio suffered broken bones and cuts in the crash and is expected to recover.

The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating the crash, but has not yet issued a preliminary report.
