A Searcy County woman, 34-year-old Paula Marie Pfaff of Marshall, has been arrested after allegedly providing drugs to her daughter to sell at school.
Searcy County Sheriff Kenny Cassell said Monday his office was contacted after a juvenile was caught by a Marshall school faculty member in possession of morphine tablets and a narcotics smoking device.
The female juvenile reportedly told law enforcement her mother, later identified as Pfaff, gave her the morphine to sell at school. The daughter was suspended from school and cited in juvenile court.
Sheriff Cassell says during an interview with Searcy County investigators in January, Pfaff is alleged to have confessed to giving the morphine tablets to her daughter to sell.
Pfaff was arrested July 30 and has been charged with a felony count of delivery of a Scheduled I/II controlled substance and a misdemeanor count of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
