The City of Yellville is under a boil order. According to the City of Yellville Public Works Department, the boil order is a precautionary measure due to maintenance work on water lines. There is no evidence of a bacteriological safety hazard at this time.
All drinking and cooking water should be boiled for a minimum of two minutes.
Residents are urged to abide by the boil order until further notice.
