Crews are working after detecting the cause of a loss of water to residents in the Three Brothers, Promise Land and Oakland areas. According to Mike Scrima of the Baxter-Marion Rural Water Association, the estimated time of restoration of service is Saturday at noon.
Scrima says a main break was detected from the pump station at Midway to the tank on County Road 15 in Promise Land. The association was forced to shut the water off to all of its customers.
Scrima anticipates once the repairs are complete, the Arkansas Department of Health will be contacted, and a boil water order may be necessary. KTLO, Classic Hits and The Boot will keep you posted if a boil order is issued.
