A lightning strike is believed to have started a house fire south of Mountain Home Wednesday afternoon. No injuries were reported.
Mountain Home firemen were called out at 3:36 to the house at 212 Willowesque Drive, located off State Highway 201 South. The house is owned by Glen Carter.
The fire is believed to have started in the attic due to a lightning strike. The extent of the damage was not listed on the report.
Mountain Home firemen, assisted by the Buford Volunteer Fire Department, were on the scene one and a half hours.
