After a day off Thursday, the St. Louis Cardinals return to action Friday night when they begin a three-day four-game series at home against Cincinnati. The teams will play a single game Friday night, two games Saturday then one game Sunday.
The Redbirds lead the National League Central by 1 1/2 games over Chicago.
Dakota Hudson (13-6) starts for the Cardinals while Trevor Bauer (10-11) goes for the Reds.
Game time is 7:15 with the pre-game at 6:20 on KTLO-AM.
