The Mountain Home eighth and ninth grade football teams both lost their scrimmage games Thursday night against Batesville.
The ninth grade lost 13-6. William Bevel had 35 receiving yards for the Junior Bombers and Daniel Jones rushed for 26 yards.
In the eighth grade contest, Batesville defeated Mountain Home 12-6.
Both teams open their regular season next Thursday at Harrison.
