A small plane crash near Branson resulted in minor injuries to its three occupants late Monday morning. According to KYTV/KSPR, Taney County Fire Assistant Chief James Lannan says all three individuals were up and walking at the scene near the Branson Airport.
Lannan says his department received an emergency call around 11:30 reporting the crash. It reportedly took nearly a half hour for search and rescue crews to locate the plane. An air ambulance and another plane from the airport assisted in spotting the crash.
The plane was still upside down in the tree line as of 1 p.m. Monday. Crews were working to contain a small fuel leak.
