The Baxter County Quorum Court will consider six items of business when it meets in regular session Tuesday evening at 6.
Four of the six items are financial matters involving appropriating or re-appropriating funds, including $60,000 in excess revenue to the road and bridge department.
An ordinance adopting revisions and adjustments to the personnel policy manual, tabled from the August meeting, will be placed on its first reading.
An ordinance that would cease billing and collecting fees from municipalities in Baxter County for the housing of prisoners will be placed on its second reading. The proposed ordinance notes voters passed a one-quarter percent sales tax in September 2017 for the operation of the county jail, including a provision to pay for the costs associated with the housing of prisoners.
The quorum court meeting will be held in the second floor courtroom of the Baxter County Courthouse.
