
ABC/Ida Mae Astute; ABC/Lou RoccoMagic Johnson and his wife, Cookie, made their 60th birthdays unforgettable with a three-day bash this week in St. Tropez, France, featuring entertainment by such music greats as Chaka Khan, Earth, Wind & Fire and Eddie Levert of The O’Jays.
The NBA Hall of Famer posted several photos on Instagram, and commented about the music, “We danced for six straight hours and no one sat down!”
Posing in a nightclub with his wife, the former Los Angeles Lakers point guard wrote, “Tonight was one of the best old school parties I’ve ever been to. 300 of our closest friends packed the dance floor all night.”
Jeffrey Osborne, Cheryl Lynn and Charlie Wilson also sang at the star-studded celebration.
The guest list included Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez, Samuel L. Jackson, Spike Lee, Anthony Anderson, Gayle King, Chris Tucker, Angela Bassett and her husband Courtney B. Vance, plus Beyonce‘s mother Tina Knowles-Lawson and her husband Richard Lawson.
