The week of the Baxter County Fair continues, as Tuesday will mark the opening of the carnival. The midway will open at 5 p.m. Admission at the gate will be $1 for Tuesday night only for anyone ages 6 and older. Children ages 5 and under can get in free. Tuesday night gate admission will be collected from 5 until 8. The admission price after Tuesday night will be $5.
Before the carnival begins, exhibitor registration will continue. Home economics, art and photography entries will be accepted from 2 until 7 in the education building, and horticulture entries will be accepted during the same time in the horticulture room. In addition, cattle, swine, goats and lambs can arrive between 3 and 9 in the livestock barn.
