Friday marks the next-to-last day for the Baxter County Fair and will also be the fair’s school day. School groups will be allowed free admission from 10 until 2.
Activities will begin in the livestock show arena at 8 a.m., with the meat rabbit show. The livestock skill-a-thon contest will start an hour later and continue until 11, and Friday’s arena activities will conclude with the beef cattle grooming contest at 1 p.m.
The carnival will be open from 5 p.m. until the time the fair closes. From 10 until 9, commercial booths will be open, and the molasses cooking demonstration will be held next to the food booths and the barn.
Friday will be the third night of entertainment on the outdoor stage. The Kattie Laney Project will perform from 7 until 9.
