Theodosia resident among 4 injured in 2-vehicle accident

An Ozark County woman was one of four people injured in a two-vehicle accident Tuesday morning in Webster County. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 83-year-old Ann Deghuee of Theodosia, 64-year-old Susan Park of Elk Creek and 71-year-old Joy Messer and 82-year-old W.R. Messer of Mountain Grove were transported to Springfield hospitals.

Deghuee was a passenger in a van driven by Park on U.S. Highway 60 in Diggins. A pickup truck driven by W.R. Messer and occupied Joy Messer was coming from Missouri Route A when it tried to cross the roadway and struck the van in the driver’s side. The injuries to Deghuee and W.R. Messer were described as moderate, and Park and Joy Messer had minor injuries.

Both vehicles had extensive damage in the 10:55 a.m. accident.
