A Baxter County teen, Devontae James Sipps of Mountain Home, was booked into the Baxter County Detention Center Tuesday afternoon and charged with two felony counts of sexual indecency with a child.
According to the probable cause affidavit, Mountain Home Police officers responded to a reported disturbance at a local motel Tuesday.
A 14-year-old female reportedly left her residence late Monday evening “to hang out” with 19-year-old Sipps, without parental consent.
When the juvenile returned home, her mother reportedly became concerned with how her daughter was acting.
The juvenile had allegedly been smoking marijuana and had been with Sipps the prior evening.
Sipps allegedly admitted to the use of the illegal drug and having sexual relations with the juvenile at the motel, as well as on another occasion.
He is being held on a $25,000 bond.
