
The Mountain Home High School volleyball team had a good night Thursday. The Lady Bombers hosted Searcy and picked up a straight set victory with scores of 25-16, 25-17 and 25-14. Claudia Carter led Mountain Home with 13 kills, Charlie Pierce added nine kills, Elaine Blackmon had 19 digs, and Leah Jackson dished out 39 assists.
The junior varsity match also ended in straight sets as Mountain Home topped Searcy 25-15 and 25-12. The J.V. Lady Bombers were led by Kendall Carter with nine kills, and Georgia Burnham chipped in five kills.
Salem had a rough outing at home. The Lady Greyhounds fell to Midland in straight sets with scores of 25-16, 25-20 and 26-24.
