The body of a deceased male located Tuesday evening at Big Creek Golf and Country Club has been identified as a Buford area man. According to Mountain Home Police Chief Carry Manuel, the death of 67-year-old Thomas Norris has been ruled accidental.
Chief Manuel says a preliminary report was received from the Arkansas State Crime Laboratory in Little Rock following the conclusion of the autopsy. The cause of Norris’ death was reportedly environmental hyperthermia.
Norris’ body was located in an undeveloped wooded tract of land neighboring the golf course at Big Creek.
