A Mountain Home man was sentenced to 10 years in prison on drug-related charges during a session of Baxter County Circuit Court Thursday.
Thirty-six-year-old Ricky Glover Jr. was accused of selling methamphetamine to a person working with law enforcement on three occasions last year. During the sales, which took place in August, November and December, Glover was alleged to have sold a total of almost six grams of methamphetamine to the confidential informant.
Glover was also charged with the illegal use of a communications device for setting up the sales on a cellphone.
In March, Mountain Home Police Chief Carry Manuel said a patrol officer located a small lawn mower-type trailer at the edge of a wooded area on Drillers Lane. The officer approached the trailer and located two small fire safes that had been pried open on the ground. A second officer arrived, and the two followed a nearby trail to a portable building where they could hear a male and a female voice. The female exited the building, and the male, identified as Glover, later appeared.
Officers attempted to arrest Glover at his residence a week before Christmas. The Mountain Home man fled the residence, and the K-9 unit eventually lost track.
