
A Mountain Home man was injured in a one-vehicle accident early Friday evening in Ozark County. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 66-year-old Robert Coyer was transported by air ambulance to Cox Medical Center South in Springfield with what were described as “serious” injuries.
Coyer was traveling on U.S. Highway 160 nearly 5 miles east of Gainesville when his SUV traveled off the roadway and struck a culvert. He was reportedly not wearing a seatbelt. A hospital spokesperson says Coyer remains listed as a patient.
Coyer’s SUV was totaled in the 5:30 p.m. accident.
