The North Central Arkansas Operation Christmas Child and Arvest Bank are again partnering to provide empty shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child.Shoeboxes will be available beginning Tuesday and continuing through Nov. 21 at all three Arvest locations in Mountain Home and Harrison and at the Yellville and Flippin locations.
Operation Christmas Child is a project of Samaritan’s Purse, allowing individuals an opportunity to pack a shoebox with toys, school supplies, clothing and hygiene items. The shoeboxes are then delivered to children in need around the world. For many of these children the gift-filled shoebox is the first gift they have ever received.Once filled, drop off the shoebox from Nov. 18-25 at a local drop off center.
