Two young Mountain Home men, who are identified in police and court records as cousins, have been booked into the Baxter County Detention Center 64 times on a variety of charges since 2007.
Both 30-year-old Matthew Travis Sebree and 24-year-old Kendrick Nathaniel Sebree appeared during a session of Baxter County Circuit Court Thursday. They have entered not guilty pleas to the latest charges filed against them.
The records of both Matthew and Kendrick Sebree show together the men have been charged with a wide variety of crimes through the years.
The charges against one or both of the Sebrees include theft of property, criminal mischief, burglary, possessing an instrument of crime, battery, terroristic threatening, fleeing, theft by receiving and impairing the operations of a vital public facility. The records also contain charges of assault, leaving the scene of an accident, possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia, endangering the welfare of a minor, being a felon in possession of a firearm, being in possession of a defaced firearm and the simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms.
Both men have also picked up a large number of traffic offenses and have served time in the county jail and the state prison system. They have also been charged with violating the terms and conditions of their parole or probation.
According to the Baxter County jail log, both Kendrick and Matthew Sebree were booked into the detention center on separate charges last month. They remain incarcerated.
Kendrick Sebree’s latest charges were filed in September, when the vehicle in which he was a passenger was stopped by a Mountain Home Police officer at Ninth and Bryan Streets. When Sebree exited the vehicle, the officer reported finding needles in the pocket of his cargo shorts. Sebree said he was carrying the syringes because he had recently been diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes.
When another male, 24-year-old Tanner Sebold of Yellville, got out of the vehicle, the MHPD officer saw a loaded revolver at Sebold’s feet.

Both Kendrick Sebree and a female passenger were on felony probation at the time of the stop, permitting warrantless searches. In addition to weapons, a white powdery substance was found, resulting in drug and weapons charges being filed.
The latest case against Matthew Sebree available on electronic court records is a charge of theft by receiving. The events leading up to his arrest on that charge began July 5, when a report was made of items being stolen from several units at a local storage facility.
The allegedly stolen items included a kayak, paddles for the kayak and a pair of water skis. On Aug. 7, an MHPD officer attempted a traffic stop on the vehicle being driven by Kendrick Sebree. He was reported to have refused to pull over until he reached Matthew Sebree’s residence. When officers went in search of Matthew Sebree after Kendrick’s arrest, they were reported to have discovered the kayak, paddles and water skis identified as having been taken from the storage units.
