Long says the district runs 46 routes each day, which totals 2,800 miles. The district has 65 buses in its fleet, with the average mileage at just over 133,800 miles per bus, with several over 200,000 miles. Long says the district will retire some higher-mileage buses, when the new vehicles arrive.
