The 3A-North District Volleyball Tournament got underway Monday at the Panther Palace in Bergman.
Marshall’s season came to an end in a match that needed all five sets. The Lady Bobcats were eliminated, after the host Lady Panthers posted scores of 23-25, 25-18, 25-21, 14-25 and 15-13. With the victory, Bergman clinched a state tournament berth.
Valley Springs was also one and done in the tournament. The Lady Tigers were defeated in the final match of the night by Clinton.
