High school basketball makes up much of the local Tuesday schedule.
The annual Twin Rivers Classic will get underway in the Bobby D. Hulse Gymnasium at Norfork. In girls’ action, Calico Rock and Jasper will tip off at 4 p.m. in a battle between Lady Pirates, and Lead Hill meets Shirley at 6:30. On the boys’ side, Jasper faces Shirley at 5:15, and Flippin takes on Lead Hill at 7:45.
The Bad Boy Mowers Classic will continue in the Cougar Den on the campus of Izard County High School in Brockwell. Bradford and Sloan-Hendrix will get the action started with a doubleheader at 3:30, Mammoth Spring will play back-to-back games against Mount Vernon-Enola at 5:30, and Mountain Home Christian Academy will have a doubleheader against Maynard at 7:30.
Elsewhere, Bruno-Pyatt travels to St. Paul, Viola makes the trip to Fox to meet Rural Special, St. Joe heads to Mount Judea, Timbo hosts Pangburn, and Valley Springs travels to Eureka Springs.
