Courtesy of Paradise ArtistsThe initial dates for the 2020 edition of the Happy Together Tour, the annual oldies package trek headlined by The Turtles, have been revealed. The star-studded outing gets underway June 3 in Melbourne, Florida and currently is mapped out through an August 31 concert in Grand Island, Nebraska.

More than 40 stops have been confirmed, with additional shows expected to be announced soon. Joining The Turtles on the tour will be The Association, ex-Three Dog Night singer Chuck Negron, The Cowsills, former Paul Revere & The Raiders frontman Mark Lindsay and The Vogues. The Vogues, who will be making their Happy Together Tour debut, are best known for the pair of top-five hits they scored in 1965 — “You’re the One” and “Five O’Clock World.”

For a third consecutive year, Ron Dante, the voice of The Archies, will step in for Turtles lead singer Howard Kaylan, who has been sidelined since undergoing heart and back surgeries in 2018.

With Dante on board for the trek, The Turtles will feature the Archies classic “Sugar, Sugar,” along with their own hits like  “She’d Rather Be with Me,” “Elenore,” “You Showed Me” and, of course, “Happy Together.”
