High school volleyball is scheduled for Tuesday, as state tournament play gets underway in Arkansas.
Mountain Home will be in downtown Hot Springs for the start of the Class 5A State Tournament. The Lady Bombers’ first opponent will be Russellville.
Mountain Home comes into the match with a record of 15-4. The Lady Bombers enter the tournament as the conference runners-up from the 5A-East. Russellville is the third-seeded team from the 5A-West.
Action begins at 3 p.m. at Bank OZK Arena.
Yellville-Summit will be the host of the Class 2A State Tournament.
Cotter gets the action started on Court 1. The Lady Warriors meet Decatur at 1 p.m. Later on, Ridgefield Christian faces St. Joseph at 3, Midland takes on Hackett at 5, and Conway Christian will play Marianna-Lee at 7.
Two other local teams will compete on Court 2 as Yellville-Summit will be paired with Lavaca at 3, and Flippin will go up against Alpena at 7. In the other matches, Cutter-Morning Star meets Barton at 1, and Crowley’s Ridge Academy faces Quitman at 5.
