A few area basketball teams got in games Tuesday night before the Thanksgiving break.
In boys’ action:
-Norfork blew past Timbo 79-45 to up its record to 7-6.
-Gainesville edged past county rival Bakersfield 58-56.
-Lutie lost to Galena 69-33.
-Salem is 2-0 after topping Cedar Ridge 66-63.
-Lead Hill was a 66-45 winner over St. Joe.
-Valley Springs downed Future School of Fort Smith 80-45 to push its record to 10-1.
-Bergman is also 10-1 after whipping Hamburg 60-31.
-Harrison was a 70-47 winner over Branson.
In girls’ action:
-Norfork was a 63-17 winner over Timbo to improve to 6-6.
-Salem opened its season with a 62-40 win over Cedar Ridge.
-Dora fell to Mountain View-Liberty 71-35.
-Valley Springs was a 55-43 winner over Lincoln.
-Bergman downed Hamburg 67-46.
-Harrison lost to Springfield Kickapoo 68-46.
