Guest speakers Virginia Cornett and Sandy Priebe with the Arkansas Quilt Trail made a presentation Thursday at the Rotary Club of Mountain Home.
Cornett spoke about the different quilt patterns people may choose from or design their own. The pieces are then painted in large squares on plywood and attached to barns, businesses, buildings, or fences.
Cornett says they hope to have “barn quilts” in every county in Arkansas and are off to a good start with almost 100 on display in a five-county area.
Cornett and Priebe gave each Rotarian a pamphlet and map showing the patterns and addresses of the North Central Arkansas “Quilt Trail.”
