November light month for MH building permits; just 3 sold

Just three building permits were sold in the City of Mountain Home in November, according to Jeannie Anderson from the Building Inspection Department.

Topping the list was a permit to Americom Construction for a metal canopy at Eaton Aeroquip Inc., located at 1830 State Highway 201 South Spur. Construction value of the 1,375-square-foot canopy project is $84,000.

A second permit was issued to Mark Bertel Jr. for the remodeling of Phase 2-A at the Dels Apartments, located at 145 South Main Street. Construction value of the project is $25,000. The Dels Apartments were formerly known as the Town and Country Motor Inn. The city first issued a 42-unit remodel permit for the Dels in August.

The third permit was issued to Southwest Properties for a storage building at 301 First Street. Construction value of the project is $300.

Total construction value of the three permits issued in November was $109,300.

The cost of all permits issued for the month of November totaled $1,879, including the actual cost of building, electric, mechanical and plumbing permits.

The city building and inspection department handled 40 inspections for the month.
