The first step to build an on-campus tennis facility at Mountain Home High School was taken Thursday night, when the school board started discussions on an agreement with the Bomber Booster Foundation and the Community Tennis Association of Mountain Home to begin fundraising for the proposed facility.
The facility would have six courts, three of which would be covered with lights, spectator bleachers, a building which includes an office, restrooms and storage closets.
Superintendent Dr. Jake Long says the three entities will work in partnership to make the project come together.
