An Ozark County man suffered serious injuries following a one-vehicle accident Saturday afternoon in Douglas County. Eighteen-year-old Garrett Morgan of Gainesville was transported by ambulance to Mercy Hospital in Springfield.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Morgan was traveling on Missouri Highway 5 nearly 2 miles south of Squires when his pickup truck went off the left side of the roadway. The vehicle struck a guardrail and came to rest in a ravine.
Morgan’s truck was totaled in the 3:15 p.m. accident.
