Columbia RecordsFive Bruce Springsteen albums spanning from 1999 to 2007 will be reissued as multiple-disc vinyl collections on February 21, most of which haven’t been available on vinyl since their initial releases.
The albums being re-released are the 1999 18 Tracks compilation, 2001’s Live in New York City, 2002’s The Rising, 2005’s Devils & Dust and 2007’s Live in Dublin. All of the releases are being issued as two-LP sets except Live in New York City and Live in Dublin, which are three-LP collections.
18 Tracks features a selection of rare Springsteen recordings that also appeared on the more expansive Tracks box set.
The Rising found Bruce offering messages of healing and hope in the wake of the 9/11 terrorist attacks. The album, which reached #1 on the Billboard 200, was Springsteen’s first full studio effort in 15 years to feature The E Street Band.
Devils & Dust is a stripped-down acoustic collection that also topped the Billboard 200.
Live in New York City was recorded at two shows that Springsteen played with a then newly reunited E Street Band at Madison Square Garden during the summer of 2000.
Live in Dublin features performances from a series of shows that Bruce played in the Irish capital in November 2006 with his 2006 folk album We Shall Overcome: The Seeger Sessions. This marks the first time ever that Live in Dublin will be available on vinyl.
You can pre-order all five titles now.
