The Cotter City Council will consider a new member of the Planning and Zoning Commission when it meets Thursday evening at 6 for its regular monthly session.
Jason Nazarenko has been appointed by Mayor Mac Caradine to fill the vacant position created with the expiration of a five-year term in December previously held by Mertice Kray.Four other action items are listed under new business, including a resolution to adopt the revised 2019 city budget.The council will also receive a USDA letter of conditions memo and packet regarding phase II of the sewer project, consider action of re-purposing unusable playground equipment listed on inventory and hear from Linda McCarthy with the Cotter Fire Department Auxiliary regarding an upcoming chili supper and fundraiser.The meeting will be held in the council chambers of Cotter City Hall.
